Beloniscidae Kury, Pérez-González & Proud, 2019 is a small family of Indomalayan Grassatores, recently detached from the Epedanidae.
They possess sexual dimorphism in the trochanter IV, which in males is elongate and strongly armed with a spur or hook.

The known distribution of the Beloniscidae includes several SE Asian countries, more notably Indonesia and Myanmar.
They are conspicuously absent from Borneo and the Philippines.
