Bunochelis Roewer, 1923 is a genus of Phalangiinae with 2 species from the Canary Islands.
Synonymy[]
- Bunostomum Roewer 1911e: 80; Crawford 1992: 14 [junior homonym of Bunostomum Railliet, 1902 (Nematoda); type species: Bunostomum crassipes Roewer, 1911, by original designation].

Etymology[]
Bunostomum: Greek βουνός (mound) + Greek στόμα (mouth). Gender neuter. Bunochelis: Greek βουνός (mound) + Greek χηλή (forceps). The ending -is (gender indeterminate) becomes feminine because Roewer (1923: 767) treated it as such in the combination B. spinifera; see ICZN Art. 30a.i. (Crawford 1992: 14).
Type species[]
Bunochelis crassipes Roewer, 1911 (now synonymized under Bunochelis spinifera (Lucas, 1839).
Placement[]
In Phalangiinae (Roewer 1923).
