Cryptomaster leviathan Briggs, 1969 was the only member of the genus Cryptomaster (Laniatores:Travuniidae) until Cryptomaster behemoth was described in 2016. Both species were then transferred to Cryptomastridae Derkarabetian & Hedin, 2018.
