"Iberian endemism spread throughout the Duero Plateau and the surrounding reliefs, especially the mountains of León and the Central System (mountain ranges of Gata, Gredos and Guadarrama), although it seems absent from the Cantabrian Mountains, where it does not even reach its foothills; the Extremadura foothills of the Montes de Toledo and much of the Sierra Morena, from the Sierra de Aracena to that of Córdoba." [Prieto & Fernandez 2007].
