Jürgen Gruber is an Austrian opilionologist, born in Vienna. He is one of the leading taxonomists of Opiliones in the world.
Notable contributions[]
Gruber among other things contributed numerous papers on fauna of European groups, notably on Dyspnoi. He also did studies on Turkish fauna and along with Shear worked on Ortholasmatinae.
