Paraumbogrella is a genus in the family Sclerosomatidae, subfamily Gagrellinae.

With characters of the group Gagrelleae (Banks): femora of first to fourth legs with nodules, but their numbers not always constant. Scutum on the first and second segments with a distinct median hump. Eye tubercle covered entirely with minute rounded elevaltions, smooth above, without armature. Femora of both first and fourth legs cylindrical and much shorter than the body.

Paraumbogrella huzitai Suzuki, 1963 (by original designation), now synonymized under Paraumbogrella pumilio (Karsch, 1881).
