Psathyropus L. Koch, 1878 is a genus in the family Sclerosomatidae, subfamily Gagrellinae.

- Within the triangle formed by Japan & eastern Russia in the north, New Guinea in the east and India in the west.
Diagnosis[]

- Toothed tarsal claw (Koch said it had a un-toothed tarsal claw, but re-examination of the type-species revealed that the claw was toothed.)
- Femur 2 has 1 or 2 nodules
- Femora 1 and 3 are longer than the body

- Curiously, having established the synonymy between Psathyropus and Metagagrella, Suzuki continued to use the junior synonym [3][4][5][6].
